Go and buy this book: www.amazon.co.uk/Takeaway-Secret-Cook-Favourite-Fast-food/dp/0716022354/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1326116892&sr=1-1£3.39 delivered at present. The background is basically the guy who wrote it was housebound and wanted to recreate takeaway food at home as he couldn't leave the house. Good god its amazing! Saturday I made Big Macs, proper McDonalds Big Macs complete with the sauce thats on them. Yesterday I managed to make an authentic American Breakfast of big fat pancakes and flat spicy pork sausage. Today I have made a Chicken Korma that tastes exactly like the Indian Takeaway. I'm stunned! ;D So many fab recipes in there, you can make your own Kebabs amongst other things and a whole host of Indian food. Also included is Chinese Takeaway recipes.

I'm on a bit of a healthy eating thing at the moment, trying to get rid of the gut I've achieved from my recent nights out.
Bran flakes/trim flakes for breakfast - no sugar, semi-skimmed milk (because skimmed is just white water).
Small dinner, (yesterday I just had 2 pieces of chicken breast, the day before was just Ryvita with some healthy spread shit).
Small cottage pie for tea.
No snacks, no sugary drinks.
I'm not really missing food to be honest, I don't think I've got tastebuds anyway - the only time I get a sensation in my mouth is with hot food.
15k on a bike every day and some weights.

For anyone interested, here is on of the curry recipes from the book:
You need to start with a base curry, by making this in bulk and freezing it you can then make other types of curry by adding to the base later on.
75ml Veg Oil 2 Carrots, chopped 1 large spanish onion chopped half a green pepper chopped 2 and a half liters of water (4 and a half pints) 2 tablespoons tomato puree 1 tablespoon Garlic and Ginger Paste 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1 teaspoon cumin powder 1 teaspoon turmeric powder half tablespoon Garam Masala (spice aisle in Tesco, its dry and confused me!) handful of Fresh Coriander tin chopped tomatoes 25g creamed coconut block (Pataks, in a box) 1/4 teaspoon salt
Heat the veg oil and fry the veg (use a big saucepan!) Add water, tom puree, garlic and ginger paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric, garam masala, fresh coriander, tinned toms and coconut block.
Bring to boil then simmer for 1 hour.
Use a hand blender and blend all into a soup like consistency, cook for a further 15 mins then allow to cool.
Allow 200-300ml of base curry per person. Sauce will freeze to make it easier next time.
Korma
Chicken Breast 1/2 teaspoon Veg Oil 1/2 teaspoon garlic and ginger paste 1 teaspoon tomato puree 1 teaspoon lemon juice pinch salt 1 tablespoon veg oil 3 tablespoons coconut powder (couldnt get this so used one block as in the base curry) 3 tablespoons Sugar 75ml Single cream
Marinade chicken pieces in tablespoon of veg oil with garlic and ginger paste, tomato puree, lemon juice and salt. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Bring basic curry sauce to boil in one pan, in another stir fry the marinaded chicken. Add the basic curry sauce, coconut block and sugar, keep stirring! Add single cream and cook for a further 5-6 minutes. Serve.
