Yesterday I almost ate meat all day, had a chunk of beef left over from Sunday that I ate on the drive down south, then had pulled pork tacos, then it was the all you can eat buffet again in Stevenage last night, steak cooked to order and beef in black bean sauce; I walked up to watch Stevenage play Crawley after, glad it was windy as the gas trail behind me was dispersing quickly.

Just eaten octopus... quite OK to be fair! Would never have dreamed of eating it but it was forced upon my by a resteraunteur so couldn't decline. I've got a kilogram of baby octopus*** in the freezer. It was on special offer and I can't resist a bargain. This thread has reminded me to defrost some of it. Will have to google some recipes as I haven't a clue what to do with it. That's my after pub food treat sorted for tomorrow. Cheers Jonesy for reminding me. *** What is the plural of Octopus? Is it octopuses, Octopi or Octopussies? Who the fuck has a kilo of baby octopus at home!  Bet that cost a good few squid? |

Eating a Thai curry thats so hot its distorted my vision... Should have known it was risky when the waitress put it down and rather than "enjoy" she said "be careful" .

Had a "dirt dog" yesterday, foot long frankfurters in a roll topped with pulled pork, beef chilli and feck loads of cheddar; absolutely filthy but kind of nice at the same time.

Just made a spicy pumpkin soup and got some sausages in the oven prepping for sausage butties, daughter is 22 today and her friends are coming over before they go out for the day, I'm hoping they will all have my sausage

slice a fresh pineapple; drizzle with honey, throw in a good few rasins, sprinkle with cinnamon & add a couple of cloves.
Cover & bake the fuck out of it; serve with whipped double cream. spot-fucking-on!
