Funny one for me yesterday - last three ''runs'' have been 8 10 and 8 miles. Went out last night expecting to run a 10 miler and got to about 3 and started to feel awful - dizzy, tired and jelly legs. Not nice. Anyone had anything like that? Yeah, usually when I climb stairs.

You two both awake at 5.30am? Which one is Jack Lemon? Light half marathon with Northy and his mate this morning in about 1.49. The sod was fresh from his week on the piss in London and I was struggling through after Thursday nights run and an hour of football last night. It's a good job I've got willpower Orby

You two both awake at 5.30am? Which one is Jack Lemon? at 8.40 we were just passing 7 miles, had chased a badger down the road, it nearly ran into a woman on a bike, spooked the birds just as the sparrow hawk swooped in, got outpaced by a couple of hares bombing down the lane and saw loads of other stuff, cracking morning for a run. Up at 5.30 to mentally prepare for taking the mother in law out for her birthday

The saltwater Lido opened here this weekend, so am going to start swimming there as it has a decent length size to get stuck into...
friends think I'm mad as there's a really nice indoor pool at the Sports Centre..
there's something nice about swimming outside though, even if it is in the rain... ;D

Tend to do shorter, 2 or 3 mile runs.
Try to keep it under 8 minute a mile.

anybody not doing anything on Friday? Just been told of the 'real torch relay' couple of slots available on Friday in Cheshire, I'd have gone for one myself if it wasn't the potters arf on Sunday www.endurancelife.com/realrelay/

You can fuck right off. I'm not running with you and Northers. 10 minute miles for the last 6 years for me - anything faster and I will be fucked and not even finish.
Anything under 2hr 10 for me and I'll be pleased! ;D
