Cheshire 10k today - 44.22, blitzed my 3 year old 10k PB of 45.12 202 out of over 1100 runners, not quite sure where I was in the over 50's age group who says you get slower as you get older 5 mile pb this week 31:24 taking 24 seconds of the previous. Averaging just under 10mph

Surprised I never saw any of you bumders in London this morning.
I want to know why you never see any football shirts running the marathon. Are they banned because they all have sponsors on or something?

You'd think someone would wear one though but you never see them?
Heel is still knackered, I've self-referred myself to a physio to get it sorted. I can imagine it'll be something along the lines of do nothing for six months which will be torture.

I had Stoke city badges but on my h4h running vest in 2011, spotted by millwall and qpr fans, bit of banter then i asked them 'which way to wembley'

I can imagine it'll be something along the lines of do nothing for six months which will be torture. If it's any comfort to you I had three months off between April and July last year apart from running five league races purely to make sure I got the required number by the end of season. I saw the physio early on and she gave me a list of instructions which I stuck to for the first two months. The rest also helped to clear up a few of the other niggles so it's not all bad.

Think I'll have a day of processed meat today.
Me & the daughter (6yo) have just signed up for a 5k fun run... I don't think it'll be much fun & probably won't involve much running!

Regular shagging and healthy eating are all that's needed for good health, fitness, and general bonhomie
