Usually, these types of outbreaks occur in rural areas and can be contained relatively easily as the symptoms develop quite quickly, but getting access to sea and air travel is another thing. As a scientist, ex NBC officer and cautious person, I'm not ringing any panic bells yet but in all seriousness, it's worth keeping an eye on

Outbreak was quite a good film.
My fave virus type movie is the andromeda strain.
I consider it a masterpiece.

As a scientist, ex NBC officer and cautious person, I'm not ringing any panic bells yet but in all seriousness, it's worth keeping an eye on NBCD attacks, had one of those in the gulf on an old steam powered ship, quite a few in the engine room passed out through the heat build up when the vents were shut, they weren't designed for that !! |

I'm off to tesco for some tinned fruit and bottled water, that'll see me through the world apocalypse better off getting a water butt from B and Q, as for food, tinned fish lasts longest, as does honey, get some rice and pasta, lots of duck tape, bleach, polythense dust sheets and jobs a goodun. |

Will no-one think of the pigs? They were one of the worlds earliest take away/fast foods and were allowed to run around the camp so whenever anyone was peckish they could just grab one, stick a stick through it, and cook it. link |

Not that I've considered it Bleach will do for water purification as well as decontamination, all the knives axes and tools you should have, just get them out of the shed, shortty is good if you have one, trapping with wire or fishing likely to be better for food, para cord good, radio and torches hand crank if poss, but you forgot large scale local maps, and the ability to move out if you have to ie fuel, planned route, bergens etc |
